Martin Dubravka signed on a permanent deal with Newcastle this summer.

Newcastle fans were left frustrated over their summer transfer business, with the Tyneside faithful uninspired by their outfield options ahead of their second season back in the Premier League.
However, one bit of phenomenal business last month came in the form of last season’s loan signing Martin Dubravka, who joined the Magpies on a permanent basis.
The Slovakian has already shown some inspiring performances in the new season between the sticks, making him easily the best player in Newcastle colours at this stage of the season.
The 29-year-old has pulled off some epic saves, many of which came in Newcastle’s 2-1 defeat to top-flight Champions Manchester City, which could have easily been four or five had Dubravka not been in goal.
The former Sparta Prague stopper also has one clean sheet to his name this term and has only conceded six goals in four games, three of which have come against top six clubs.

Dubravka joined Newcastle for a fee of around £4m, which in the modern-day transfer market can only be regarded as great business from Spanish manager Rafa Benitez.
And the side who currently sit in the relegation zone will need more displays like the four Dubravka has put in so far if they are to stand a chance of survival this season.
