Specsavers have taken to Twitter to mock Harry Kane, after Sky Sports posted footage of him following Tottenham drew 2-2 with Liverpool.
What’s the story?
Well, Kane discussed his strong challenge on Andy Robertson when speaking to Sky Sports, and said he felt he won the ball.
The England international flew into the Scottish left-back with his studs up, and didn’t get a touch on the ball as Robertson dinked it over him.
It easily could’ve been a red card, but Kane luckily escaped with just a booking.
The Tottenham No.10 is entitled to his opinion, although claiming to have got the ball is just going against the facts, as he didn’t even get a slight touch on it.

Specsavers seem to agree with that sentiment, as they questioned Kane’s eyesight after hearing what he said.
You can see the exchange in full below.
It may have only been a short response, although it captures the confusion from everyone who watched Kane’s interview to perfection.
How he thinks he got a touch on the ball is beyond us.
Swings and roundabouts for Tottenham and Harry Kane
Football has a funny way of evening itself out, and you could argue that the footballing Gods were on Tottenham’s side against the Reds.
Back in January 2020, Robertson lunged in on Japhet Tanganga during Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Tottenham in north London.

It was almost the exact same as Kane’s challenge, and the Scot surprisingly went unpunished.
Now, Robertson can have no complaints about Kane staying on the pitch – he would be a hypocrite if he did have any, to say the least.
