West Ham United have been trolled by their own fans after posting a picture on social media.

The former coach of Manchester City, Chilean Manuel Pellegrini (L), arrives for the draw of the Copa Sudamericana football tournament, in Santiago, on July 12, 2016.

West Ham are back in pre-season training with new manager Manuel Pellegrini.

West Ham returned for pre-season this week and headed straight to their Swiss training base this week.

Pellegrini has been getting to know his squad as the Hammers get back to training at Sportplatz Ri-AU, the home of Swiss 3 Liga club FC Bad Ragaz.

Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!

Among those taking part were summer signings Ryan Fredericks and Issa Diop, who are starting their West Ham careers after joining from Fulham and Toulouse respectively while goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski will not join up with his new side for a while yet after taking part in the World Cup with Poland.

Before they set off for Switzerland, though, the squad underwent a series of tests at their Rush Green training ground.

The club posted a picture of defender Aaron Cresswell undergoing tests.

And it backfired somewhat as West Ham were soon trolled by their own fans who mocked the facilities at Rush Green after spotting a towel taped across a window in place of a curtain or blinds.

The London Stadium is seen ahead of the English Premier League football match between West Ham United and Swansea City at The London Stadium, in east London on April 8, 2017.

A West Ham fan account on Instagram posted the picture saying: “Our state of the art training facilities at Rush Green don’t have any window blinds, so instead we have to tape a towel to the window.

“That’s coming out of our transfer fund for sure!”

The post was soon being shared around as supporters poked fun at the facilities at their training ground which many supporters feel are not up to the standards of their Premier League rivals.

The likes of Brighton have brand new state of the art training complexes.
