Newcastle United have been linked with a summer move for Danish target man Nicolai Jorgensen.

Feyenoord star Nicolai Jorgensen was keen on a January move to Newcastle but the clubs could not agree a fee despite Rafa Benitez reportedly being ready to break the club’s transfer record, as reported by Chronicle Live.
And the Chronicle claims Newcastle remain interested in signing Jorgensen, who helped Denmark into the last 16 at the Russia World Cup before missing his penalty as they were knocked out by Croatia.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
Some Magpies fans are not sold on Jorgensen – particularly since his costly penalty miss against Croatia – but he does have pedigree.

He scored 25 goals in his first season in Rotterdam to help Feyenoord win the Eredivisie, scooping the Golden Boot in the process.
And Newcastle are not alone in their interest according to a new report from Turkish outlet Fotomac which claims Fenerbahce have entered the running.
Fotomac claims Fenerbache have earmarked Bas Dost as their prime summer target but are now considering a move for Jorgensen as they seek a target man.

Jorgensen is not the only striker Newcastle have been linked with of late with Sky Sports reporting the club has bid for French forward Alassane Plea.
Whether that will be instead of a move for Jorgensen or in addition to the big Dane only time will tell as the window enters the final month and a half.
Benitez will reportedly have around £50 million available to spend this summer, as reported by Chronicle Live.
