The USA defender swapped Tottenham for Newcastle United.

DeAndre Yedlin completed his move from Tottenham to Newcastle United on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old was Spurs’ third-choice right-back behind Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier and he joins Newcastle on a five-year deal.
The USA full-back may incur the wrath of the Magpies’ North-East rivals Sunderland after spending a season at the Stadium of Light on loan last term.

It is a good signing by former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez as the Spaniard strengthens his chances of leading Newcastle to promotion back into the Premier League.
Yedlin received plenty of well wishes on Twitter following the announcement, but one of the more random tributes was certainly paid by Djimi Traore.

The much-maligned ex-Liverpool left-back – who played under Benitez at Anfield – previously played alongside Yedlin with the Seattle Sounders.
And the former Premier League man – a Champions League winner with Liverpool in 2005 – has offered his sentiments to Yedlin and Benitez himself.
He is Benitez’s ninth signing of the summer and replaces Daryl Janmaat, who joined Watford on a permanent basis yesterday.
Newcastle, who have won their last two Championship games after losing the first two, host Brighton at St James’s Park this weekend.
