They trailed 3-1 at the break to Spurs, with Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli grabbing first-half goals, while Mo Salah pulled one back to make it 2-1.
But Kane completed his brace on 56 minutes to kill off any chances of an-already unlikely comeback.
