Djed Spence seemingly fancies himself as another Alphonso Davies with Bayern Munich now battling Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.
That’s according to Sky Germany, who claim that Spence thinks he can make a real breakthrough at Bayern if he makes the move to the Allianz Arena.
Spence allegedly feels he is ready for the step up, and sees Davies as something of a role model.
Davies has become a star in Germany having initially burst onto the scene with Vancour Whitecaps in Major League Soccer.
The rise from MLS to Bundesliga star would be similar to that of the Championship to the Bundesliga, hence Spence looking towards Davies as inspiration.
Bayern are expected to hold further talks for Spence at the end of the month in the hope of teeing up a summer deal.
With Bouna Sarr likely to leave the club, Bayern need another right back and Spence is seemingly the man they want.
Spence, 21, is currently on loan from Middlesbrough at Nottingham Forest this season and has been shining at the City Ground.
A move from Arsenal is expected according to the Northern Echo, who also claim that Spence is high on Tottenham’s wish list.

It looks like there will be a major battle for Spence’s signature this summer, but the chance to join Bayern may be too good to pass up.
The alleged asking price of around €15million (£12.5million) is far from egregious and should easily fit into the budgets of Arsenal, Bayern and Tottenham.
With Davies now one of the top full backs in the world, the interested clubs certainly won’t want to risk missing out on another Davies in Spence.
Quick, attack-minded and with huge potential, you can understand the comparison and admiration; let’s see if the pair join forces at Bayern next season and beyond.
