West Ham United, Southampton and Newcastle United are among the clubs interested in signing Divock Origi from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
What’s the story?
Liverpool reportedly want to sell Origi this summer, and West Ham, Southampton and Newcastle all are interested in the Belgium international striker.
Crystal Palace, Rangers and Celtic are monitoring the 26-year-old as well.
Would Origi make West Ham or Southampton better?
Origi has won the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool, but the 26-year-old has been largely a squad player for the Reds over the years.
The Liverpool no.27 made two starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League last season.
The Belgium international striker made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for the Reds in 2020-21.

A quick look at Origi’s stats here will tell you that he is not a prolific goalscorer.
Now, of course, Origi has experience in the Premier League, but the striker has not shown enough to suggest that he could lead the line for West Ham or Southampton.
The Hammers and the Saints need someone who has a proven record of scoring goals.
