Liverpool’s Divock Origi says he feels he can develop on loan at Wolfsburg.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi says he is excited to get started on loan at Wolfsburg.
The Belgian international left the Reds at the end of the transfer window after falling down the pecking order at Anfield.
Speaking to Wolfsburg’s official website, Origi says he is excited for the new challenge.

He said: “I wanted a new challenge and Wolfsburg really wanted to have me. I see the chance for me to develop further here.”
“I like football, so I know the Bundesliga and Wolfsburg. I love this competition and I am really looking forward to playing in the Bundesliga.”
Origi added that he is ready to make his debut this weekend if he is called upon.
He said: “I feel good both mentally and physically, so I could certainly play on Saturday. As a player, you always feel ready. At the end of the day, the coach must decide how far along I am.”

The 22-year-old played 34 games for the Reds in the Premier League last season but only 14 of them were starts, and he contributed seven goals.
His place was set to come under added pressure from new boy Dominic Solanke, while exciting talent Ben Woodburn has also recently been stating his case.
This is also an important year for Origi as he needs to play regularly in order to make Belgium’s World Cup squad.
