Aston Villa loanee Kortney Hause has angered the supporters of his parent club Wolves by tweeting a message congratulating one of the men who scored against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the FA Cup on Tuesday.

The Premier League high-flyers booked their place in the next round of the competition after defeating the League One side 3-2 at Molineux. But at one stage, it appeared that the Shrews may have a fantastic chance of causing an upset.

After going a goal down, the League One side scored twice to take the lead during the first-half. Their second goal came from a strike from Josh Laurent, which John Ruddy managed to send into the back of the net.

While Wolves were left stunned by the goalkeeper’s error, one person on their books appeared to be happier than he should have been as Hause took to Twitter to praise his friend Laurent. The pair were briefly on the Wycombe Wanderers’ books at the same time back in 2012.

Unfortunately for Hause, many of the Wolves fans on social media were not best pleased about his message given that his friend had just scored against his parent club.

Several supporters have slammed the defender for showing a lack of respect towards Wolves, with a couple suggesting that he has potentially ruined any chance of turning his career at Molineux around in the future.
