Some Liverpool fans on social media are far from happy after the Liverpool Echo reported that they’ve cooled their interest in Florian Neuhaus.
The German midfielder was supposedly close to joining Liverpool at one point, but it seems as though the Reds have taken a step back on that front.
Neuhaus could have been a great Georginio Wijnaldum replacement for Liverpool, but now this move seems to be rather unlikely.
As you can imagine, Reds supporters weren’t best pleased with this update, and to be fair, we can understand why.
The Merseyside club need a new midfielder this summer to replace the departing Wijnaldum, and Neuhaus looked to be a great fit.
Instead it seems as though the Reds have gone cold on the German international, and we can only hope they’ve got something else up their sleeve.
