Chelsea boss Antonio Conte looks set to leave this summer.

Chelsea’s poor 2018 took another dent on Sunday afternoon as they could only draw 1-1 at home with London rivals West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have struggled under Antonio Conte this season, and are now almost certainly set to miss out on a Champions League spot after Sunday’s latest setback.

Cesar Azpilicueta put the Blues ahead, but Javier Hernandez once again scored against Chelsea to rescue a point for the Hammers, increasing the frustration levels at Stamford Bridge.

Manager Antonio Conte has been disgruntled for much of the season, and he looks set to move on this summer, despite only winning the Premier League title last year.

That would leave Chelsea yet again searching for a new manager, and whilst names such as Leonardo Jardim and Thomas Tuchel have been touted, fans have other ideas.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has strong ties to Chelsea having previously been a youth team coach at Stamford Bridge, and he has rebuilt his reputation as a manager with the Bhoys, winning an undefeated treble last season, with another treble close this term.

Fans have taken to Twitter to suggest that Rodgers could be a smart appointment to replace Conte as he knows the club and has impressed with Celtic, with some looking to see him join forces with Frank Lampard in West London.
