Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter after noticing something in the final stages of the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.

The Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing an incident in the build-up to Roberto Firmino’s 90th minute winner.

Just before the Brazilian headed home, Jordan Henderson can be seen nudging Eric Dier in the back, which sends the Tottenham No.15 crashing to the turf.

In truth, it doesn’t look like enough contact to knock a man of Dier’s size over, and it ultimately cost the north Londoners as VAR deemed there to be no offence committed.

Something that will presumably annoy Tottenham fans, however, is that Dier probably could’ve tracked Firmino and cleared the ball if he had been active in the set-piece.

Who knows? Perhaps Jose Mourinho told his players to go down softly in the area, because it definitely seems like the ex-Sporting Lisbon man could’ve stayed on his feet.

It’s not even a natural fall. The £4 million man is nudged in the back, but then ends up falling on his back.
