Arsenal fans feel that Reiss Nelson needs to leave after he was left out of Mikel Arteta’s side for their game against West Bromwich Albion yesterday.
Arsenal made numerous changes for the contest, but Nelson still did not even make the substitutes’ bench.
It has been a frustrating season for the young winger, who seemingly just cannot get a look in for the Gunners.
Nelson has not featured for Arsenal at all since January, with Arteta now clearly favouring other options.
And many Arsenal fans feel that the 21-year-old now needs to seek a move in the summer.
Arteta has previously talked up Nelson and even said he felt sorry for the youngster that he hadn’t played more just last week.
However, the 21-year-old’s development may well have been stifled by his lack of game time this term.
Nelson has already proven that he is capable of making an impact in senior football, as he was excellent on a loan spell in Germany with Hoffenheim.
And if Arteta doesn’t play him between now and the end of the campaign then Arsenal surely will have to consider offloading him in the near future.
