Skipp has been one of the Tottenham Hotspur youth team’s most impressive performers this season.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-19s have followed their senior counterparts out of Europe.
Scott Parker’s side were beaten 2-0 by FC Porto at Hotspur Way on Tuesday – denying them a place in the UEFA Youth League semi-finals.
An Oliver Skipp own goal and one at the right end from Santiago Vera condemned Tottenham to defeat in front of the watching Mauricio Pochettino.

Skipp, in particular, will be disappointed with his display, after another of his errors gifted Vera a clear run at goal – although goalkeeper Brandon Austin hardly covered himself in glory.

In fairness, Skipp’s performance was somewhat out of character for a player who has spent much of this season with Tottenham’s Under-23s, despite having only turned 17 last September.
The Welwyn Garden City native had previously impressed with his ball retention and distribution.
