Jamie O’Hara has admitted that he would accept Graham Potter being Tottenham Hotspur’s next manager after he was sacked by Chelsea this season.
In April, after losing to Aston Villa, Chelsea sacked Graham Potter after only seven months in charge and O’Hara stated that it was a ‘disaster’ of a gig, as he told Sky Sports News (21/05/23).
The 48-year-old moved from Brighton with high expectations and to a club that proceeded to spend over £500 million over two transfer windows.

Despite bringing in such a high volume and calibre of players coming through Chelsea’s doors, the club only ended up going backwards to the point that they are now heading towards a bottom-half finish.
Things haven’t exactly got better under Frank Lampard, but nonetheless, it has been a season to forget for those in West London.
Tottenham have made a habit of appointing ex-Chelsea managers, and despite Potter’s recent job being a put-off, O’Hara would still accept him.
“You know what, I would probably take Potter,” said O’Hara. “I think Chelsea was a disaster. You have seen Lampard go into there and it has continued to be a disaster.
“I think Graham Potter, before Chelsea, I would have absolutely said ‘yes’, then he had a bad time at Chelsea and it brought it down a little, in terms of how good he can be.
“But I would take Graham Potter, of course, I would.”

GRAHAM POTTER SHOULD REMAIN PATIENT
There is some sympathy being thrown towards Potter’s way because he was dealt a bad hand at Stamford Bridge.
Yes, he had talented players on his books throughout the squad, but when players have to change in corridor doors because there are too many players, then it’s an issue.
That didn’t allow Potter to flow or have any form of consistency on the training pitch, which translated to games, either way, he needs to remain calm and take his time when accepting his next job because of the critical situation he now finds himself in.
