Darren Bent has said on talkSPORT (6:41pm, July 28, 2022) that it would be disappointing if Liverpool sell Roberto Firmino to Juventus in the summer transfer window.
However, the former Tottenham Hotspur striker seems to understand why Firmino could leave Liverpool for Juventus this summer.
The talkSPORT pundit has noted that the Brazil international forward has been struggling for playing time.
As we covered here on HITC Sport earlier today, Corriere dello Sport have reported that Liverpool are close to selling Firmino to Juventus for £19 million.
However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has publicly said today that he wants to keep Firmino.

Darren Bent on Roberto Firmino from Liverpool to Juventus rumour
Bent said on talkSPORT (6:41pm, July 28, 2022) about Firmino potentially leaving Liverpool for Juventus: “It would be disappointing. His game time has dried up, but he will always be synonymous with that front three – him, Mane and Salah.”
Could an Anfield exit happen?
In our view, Roberto Firmino could leave Liverpool for Juventus in the summer transfer window.
Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz are likely to be the regular front-three for Liverpool this season.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also had Diogo Jota at his disposal.
Firmino, who had injury problems last season, could struggle to play week in and week out for Liverpool in the coming months.
Juventus are a massive club, and a move to the Italian giants could appeal to the Brazilian, who has won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League at Liverpool.
