Celtic fans weren’t impressed with Moussa Dembele’s display against Astana.

Celtic managed to claim a draw in Kazakhstan earlier today as Leigh Griffiths’ late equaliser handed them a 1-1 result against Astana in the Champions League qualifiers.
The Bhoys, who overcame Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar in the last round, fell behind in the first half as Yuri Logvinenko headed the home side in to a 1-0 lead.

Whereas Celtic couldn’t break Lincoln Red Imps down two weeks ago, they did make the breakthrough against Astana, with Leigh Griffiths – last season’s top goalscorer – rescuing a draw for Celtic.
The Bhoys will now be confident of completing the job at Celtic Park next week, taking the club one step closer to the Champions League group stages.

It was a positive response for Celtic having fallen behind, but one player who didn’t impress at the Astana Arena was striker Moussa Dembele.
The French forward, who joined Celtic from Fulham earlier this summer, hit 15 league goals last season but has still yet to open his account for Celtic – and endured another frustrating afternoon today.

During and after the game, Celtic fans took to Twitter to discuss Dembele’s performance, with many stating that he simply hasn’t impressed enough so far.
Some think that Dembele will get going once he scores his first goal for the club, whilst others even joked that re-signing former striker Marc-Antoine Fortune would have been better than Dembele, based on his displays for the club so far – but it’s worth noting that Dembele is still just 19, and proved what he can do in front of goal with Fulham in the Championship last season, meaning he has a bright future at Celtic Park, even if he’s taking a little while to impress.
Here are some of the reactions from Celtic fans after Dembele’s performance against Astana…
