The 22-year-old winger has been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur but they may not get their man.

While Mauricio Pochettino has been rightly and frequently lauded for rejuvenating Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer policy, prioritising young, hungry talents over expensive foreign imports, his record is more miss than hit when it comes to wingers.
Although, according to Turkish Football, he may miss out on adding another to his ranks.
Galatasaray winger Bruma has been linked with a move to North London for the last few months and, all the way back in November, with Turkish publication Aksam claiming that Tottenham had been on the blower over a potential deal.
However, it’s far from certain that Spurs will get the chance to right their winger wrongs this summer, especially with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United short on natural widemen. Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have been in sublime form of late but Bruma offers a more pacy, old-school option on the flanks.
“Bruma aims to play for Manchester United,” Gala Sporting Director Levent Nazifoglu told Turkish Football. “But, if he wants to, he must change certain things.”

In truth, however, there’s little reason Spurs should expect any more Bruma.
New Gala coach Igor Tudor excluded the Portuguese from his first matchday squad at the helm over the weekend after a training ground row.
And, despite his fine form in Turkey, Bruma struggled badly for consistency in his only season in a top European league on loan at Real Sociedad in 2015/16 – raising fears that he could merely follow in the footsteps of Tottenham’s previous additions.
Clinton N’Jie (below) and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou may have cost a combined £20 million but, between them, accumulated a frankly pitiable 221 minutes of Premier League action.

Cameroon forward N’Jie, erratic and inconsistent with feet too quick for his brain, is now desperately attempting to kick-start his career on loan at Marseille while N’Koudou, who Spurs spent the entire summer chasing, is hardly the upgrade fans were hoping for.
Therefore, it’s not a case that Spurs maybe couldn’t sign him. Perhaps they simply shouldn’t.
