Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon won’t be joining Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur this month.
Fulham director of football operations and vice-chairman Tony Khan has told The Telegraph that Ryan Sessegnon won’t be leaving the club this month.
Sessegnon, 17, has come up through the ranks with Fulham having joined them way back in 2008, and he has now become a first-team star.
The England Under-19 international hit seven goals in 30 games in all competitions for Slavisa Jokanovic’s men last season, becoming one of English football’s most talented young players.
Primarily a left back or left wing back, Sessegnon has continued to impress this season, smashing seven goals in 26 Championship games to trigger further interest in his signature.
The Mirror recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to push through a £30million deal for Sessegnon in the near future, with Manchester United also among the clubs to be linked.
However, their hopes of landing Sessegnon this month may have taken a huge hit, with Fulham tonight announcing that the teenager will be staying at Craven Cottage.

Sessegnon may yet move on at the end of the season, but Khan is glad to see Sessegnon stay and attempt to win promotion before potentially moving on in a matter of months.
“As it’s been the subject of a great deal of speculation, I’d like to announce that Ryan Sessegnon is staying with Fulham football club and will not be departing during this January transfer window,” said Khan. “Ryan is a very important part of the Fulham family, and we’re grateful that he’ll be with us as we fight to achieve promotion this season,” he added.
