Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane earned praise from Dion Dublin in Spurs’ Premier League win over Brighton.
The BBC pundit told Radio 5 Live that the Tottenham forward is “lethal” and the “best in the world” following his second-half winner.
Cristian Stellini’s charges played out a dramatic encounter against the Seagulls at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Kane scored his goal on 79 minutes. Son Heung-min fed Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg down the right, and he pulled it back for the England star.
The unmarked 29-year-old duly hammered the ball past Jason Steele to put Tottenham 2-1 up.
“Harry Kane is late to the party,” said Dublin, via the BBC Sport website.
“It’s on his right foot, he is always going to hit the target. He is lethal. Best in the world.”
Son had opened the scoring against Brighton in 10th minute, sending a sensational effort into the top corner.
It was his 100th Premier League goal and he reached the milestone in style.
In addition, Son also became the first Asian player to score a century of goals in the Premier League.
However, Lewis Dunk drew his side level as he also got himself a milestone goal.
He marked his 200th Premier League appearance for Brighton with a powerful header on 34 minutes.
In the match, the visitors also saw two goals ruled out by VAR and several penalty appeals turned down.
Touchline drama
And on top of that, Stellini and Roberto De Zerbi were both sent off in the second half.
The two managers appeared to be at loggerheads with one another before the match.
Following a disallowed Brighton goal, there was a melee of coaches and subs in the technical area.
This culminated in Stellini and De Zerbi both receiving their marching orders.
So, Tottenham emerge from a dramatic and controversial game as victors.
The result saw Spurs return to within three points of fourth-placed Manchester United.
