The veteran midfielder made an inspiring return for Aston Villa on Saturday.

Former Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin has taken to Twitter to send a message to former teammate Stiliyan Petrov.
Petrov is looking to make a return to his playing career next season, just four years after being diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

He has been warmly welcomed back at Villa Park this summer, with manager Roberto di Matteo inviting him to train with his side.
His return was handed a major boost on Saturday as he featured in the second half of Villa’s 8-0 pre-season win over Gak 1902.

The club’s fans, including the likes of Stan Collymore, warmly received his appearance and now Dublin has taken to Twitter to send a message to Petrov.
It now remains to be seen whether Petrov can earn himself a new permanent deal at Villa.
The midfielder is proving to be something of a bright spot in what has been a dark year for the club both on and off the pitch.
They could do with some inspiration in the Championship next season, and who better than their former captain to provide it for them?
