Wesley Moraes scored for Aston Villa last week, while Tyrone Mings played well at the back.
The former Villa star was impressed with the performances of central defender Mings and striker Wesley during Villa’s 2-0 win against Everton at Villa Park in the Premier League last Friday evening.
While 26-year-old Mings was a rock at the back for the Villans, 22-year-old striker Wesley scored the opening goal in the 21st minute.
Dublin has praised the defender and the striker, while former Villa star Merson has spoken highly of the latter.
Dublin said on Sky Sports Premier League (12:04pm, August 24, 2019): “Tyrone Mings was outstanding. His leadership qualities, making the right tackles at the right times, making the right decisions, and the big man up front is like a throwback centre-forward kind of performance. He held it up and bullied.”
Merson said about Wesley on Sky Sports Premier League (12:04pm, August 24, 2019): “He held the ball up, he did the simple things, and that was what it was. He didn’t complicate the game.”

Mings was a key figure in Villa clinching promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of last season, and the former Bournemouth defender will have to be on top of his game throughout the 2019-20 campaign for the Villans to be successful.
Wesley is Villan’s main striker, and the 22-year-old will have to score at least 15 goals in the Premier League this season if Dean Smith’s side are to comfortably stay up.
