Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Diogo Jota against Manchester City at Anfield this evening.
Jota started for Liverpool in their Premier League game against City at home.
The Portugal international started in the middle of the front three.
The 24-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, dd not have a particularly great first half, but he came alive in the second period.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers star was involved in the first goal that Liverpool scored by just being a presence near the City penalty area and putting pressure on the defenders.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp decided to take off Jota on 68 minutes and brought on Roberto Firmino instead.
The winger took one shot which was on target, had a pass accuracy of 78.6%, won one header, took 25 touches, and made one interception, according to WhoScored.
Jota will feel that he could have done better against City, especially with Firmino now fit and looking to reclaim his place in the Liverpool starting lineup.
