Rafa Mir joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window.
Mir has joined Championship club Wolves from Spanish outfit Valencia in the January transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the Wanderers had to pay Valencia a transfer fee of £2 million in order to secure the services of the 20-year-old forward.
Jota, who joined Wolves on a season-long loan deal from La Liga club Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2017, has backed Mir to be a success at the Molineux Stadium.
“He’s trying to adapt himself, he’s very young also and he’s outside of Spain for the first time,” Jota, 21, told Express & Star about Mir.
“With our help to show his game in matches. We are doing our best, we talk similar language and it will be easy. He’ll be a good signing for us.”
Mir has arrived at Wolves with a strong reputation, and given his obvious talent and very young age, he promises to be a long-term success for the Wanderers.
The youngster has played just 29 minutes of Championship football for Wolves so far, and his performance has been encouraging.
It could take the forward a while to settle into life at Wolves completely, but there is no doubt that he can be a long-term success at the Wanderers.
