West Ham United star Dimitri Payet created more chances than any other player in the Premier League this weekend.
The Hammers took on West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns looking to bounce back from their disappointing 4-2 defeat to Watford last weekend.
It proved to be another terrible afternoon for them though as Tony Pulis’ side managed to beat them by the same scoreline.

Their defence was to blame once again as some slack defending allowed the Baggies to claim all three points.
However, while the back four was struggling, it seems that Payet was performing to his usual high standards at the other end of the pitch.
| Team | Match | Total Att Assist | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dimitri Payet | West Ham | West Brom vs West Ham | 6 |
| Christian Fuchs | Leicester | Leicester vs Burnley | 5 |
| Kelechi Iheanacho | Man City | Man City vs Bournemouth | 5 |
| Dusan Tadic | Southampton | Southampton vs Swansea | 5 |
He registered six key passes against West Brom, the most managed by any player across the Premier League fixtures this weekend.
He came out on top by a narrow margin, though, with Christian Fuchs, Kelechi Iheanacho and Dusan Tadic all close behind after managing five in their games.

Nonetheless, Payet was the winner as he continues to shine despite the Hammers struggles at the beginning of this campaign.
Indeed, with their defence performing as it is they will be praying he can continue to shine like this and help them start picking up victories sooner rather than later.
