Tottenham Hotspur youngster is making progress.

Tottenham Hotspur teenager Dilan Markanday ticked off a major milestone last night.
The young winger made his first ever start for the under-23s against Swansea City.
Markanday has been an outstanding performer at under-18 level this season.
He has 11 goals in 18 games for the under-18s and starred in the recent test event at the club’s new stadium.
Last night the 17-year-old helped Spurs’ under-23s to a 2-1 away win over Swansea.
Troy Parrott scored both goals, while Markanday came close himself, hitting the post.

He only had one appearance for the under-23s prior to last night, recently coming off the bench for the final 14 minutes against Blackburn.
Tottenham have had some mixed performances at under-23 level this season and last night’s away win was welcome.
This was a well deserved next step for Markanday, who can realistically hope of becoming a regular for the under-23s next season.
