According to CalcioMercato, Antonio Conte has asked Tottenham Hotspur’s board to go out and get Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgian winger has been making waves over in Italy with Napoli, and, as ever, it seems as though Conte has had his finger on the pulse regaring the top talents in Serie A.

Kvaratskhelia has all of the ability in the world. He’s fires Napoli to the top of the league so far this season, and he genuinely looks like one of the best players in Europe right now.

Don’t just take our word for it though, Spurs legend, Gary Lineker has previously sung his praises too.

Lineker a fan

The pundit spoke highly of the attacker after a starring performance against Liverpool.

“Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is an exciting young player. Saw him against Lazio at the weekend and he was superb. He’s as difficult to play against as it is to spell his name correctly,” Lineker wrote on Twitter.

Won’t be leaving in January

As much as Spurs may want Kvaratskhelia, it’s hard to imagine the player leaving Napoli this summer.

He only arrived in Naples in the summer, and after an incredibly bright start to life in Italy, he may not want to leave the club just yet.

He’s potentially just a few months away from winning Napoli’s first league title since the days of Diego Maradona, and if he manages to get this team over the line, he’ll be immortalised in Naples for years to come.

This is a city that idolises its star footballers, and it’s hard to imagine that Kvaratskhelia won’t want to etch his name into the history books after such a remarkable start to this season.
