Lee Dixon said on ITV (6:41pm, March 28, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane needs to manage his ankles.
The former Arsenal right-back made the comments about Kane while watching the Tottenham striker in action for England against Albania on Sunday evening.
The 27-year-old striker scored for the Three Lions, who won the 2022 World Cup qualifier 2-0.
Former Arsenal and England international right-back Dixon believes that moving forward Kane needs to manage his ankles properly.
Dixon, who was on co-commentary duty last night, said in the 86th minute of the match on ITV (6:41pm, March 28, 2021): “A few Tottenham fans slightly worried about that interview. The only thing with Harry Kane I would say moving forward is his ankles. As you get older, it becomes difficult to manage.”

Sound advice
Kane has had injury problems in recent years, and Dixon’s advice to the Tottenham striker is sound.
The 27-year-old was out with an ankle injury earlier this season, spent 40 days on the sidelines with torn ankle ligament in 2018-19, and missed action for 20 days in 2017-18 with ankle issues, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Of course, it is easier said than done. After all, during a football game, you do not know when you are going to get hurt.
Meanwhile, Football.London has claimed that Valencia are interested in signing Harry Winks from Spurs in the summer of 2021, but Tottenham want a big transfer fee for the England international midfielder.
