Jurgen Klopp praised Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski despite Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Liverpool boss labelled Dejan Kulusevski’s pass to Kane, for his 11th Premier League goal of the season, as ‘great’ and added that Harry Kane is ‘outstanding’ when in front of goal, as he told Premier League Productions (06/11/22 at 7:00 pm).
Antonio Conte wasn’t able to name Kulusevski from the get-go because he was only returning from injury, not forgetting that Son Heung-min and Richarlison are also sidelined.

The Italian had Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil, who has been playing well of late, on the bench, but he only brought Moura into the fold two minutes from time.
That probably tells you everything you need to know regarding how he feels about the back-up options he has at his disposal.
Nonetheless, the attacking threat Conte is pleased to use at every moment – Kane and Kulusevski – were praised by Klopp after his own team picked up an important three points in the capital.
“I’m fine (with Tottenham coming back),” said Klopp. “For me, it’s important to judge the body language of the players. I really thought they were outstanding, at this moment.
“Okay, it’s a big blow and an unnecessary goal. It was a great pass and Kulusevski comes on, then here we go. It’s difficult to defend.
“Harry scored it?! Harry is outstanding in these moments, so that’s really tricky. But you have to defend. You have to defend half-spaces and the wings. That was a bit of a problem. “

KULUSEVSKI HAS BEEN A BIG MISS
With Son Heung-min out with a facial injury, and Richarlison still trying to fight his way back, it meant that Antonio Conte only played one out-and-out attacker against Liverpool.
Harry Kane was the only goalscoring threat, but he came alive when Kulusevski was introduced into the action in the second half.
Within minutes, he was making his typical darting runs and then threading a well-timed and perfect pass for Kane, who hit it across Alisson Becker for Tottenham’s only goal of the game.
In the end, it wasn’t enough for the home side, whose fans can’t wait to see Kulusevski back in the starting XI, and they have two games to possibly see that happening before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar – against Nottingham Forest in the League Cup on Wednesday night, before Leeds United at home.
