Tim Sherwood has said on Premier League Productions that Tottenham Hotspur right wing-back Emerson Royal looks a different player under Cristian Stellini from the one everyone is used to under Antonio Conte.
The former Spurs boss has been impressed by how Emerson has been playing for Tottenham in recent games.
The Brazil international scored for Tottenham in their 2-0 win against West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League last weekend.
Tottenham assistant head coach Stellini is taking training sessions and is on the touchline during games because of Conte’s absence due to health issues.
Tim Sherwood on Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal
Sherwood said about Emerson: “He is a different player, that boy.”

Impressive
In our view, Emerson Royal has been impressive for Tottenham Hotspur even since the North London club signed Pedro Porro in the January transfer window.
It seems as though the former Barcelona player has realised that he has to step up his game now.
Now, of course, just because Emerson has played well in a few games does not mean that he has suddenly become a ‘great’ player.
It remains to be seen if the Brazilian is able to maintain this current high standards for the rest of the season.
