Arsenal staged a quite phenomenal comeback a little earlier this afternoon.

The Gunners knew that they were set for a tricky trip to West Ham United today, given that the Hammers are in the mix for Champions League qualification.

And it started out being a horrible day for Arsenal.

Within 32 minutes, Mikel Arteta’s side were trailing 3-0 after a shocking start for the visitors, but they pulled one back before half time and then were level with eight minutes remaining when Alexandre Lacazette fired home a deserved equaliser.

Quite a few of the North Londoners really grew into their own after the break – and that’s particularly true of Calum Chambers.

Being deployed at right-back, Chambers, who had only managed a handful of Premier League games since 2019 due to injury, was exceptional and pinged in a number of fantastic deliveries.

The former Southampton star, a £16 million signing in 2014, hasn’t always been brilliant for Arsenal – especially not at right-back – but he looked a different player today and here’s how some fans reacted to his display on Twitter:
