Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after a photo of Ian Poveda surfaced online, following his Under-23 exploits yesterday.
The 21-year-old came on as a substitute as Leeds beat Wolves 2-0 in the Under-23 clash.
Two goals from Rodrigo helped earn the win, while there was also another outing for Gaetano Berardi, who is nearing full fitness it seems.
However, Poveda’s appearance is what fans are talking about.
The 4-cap England Under-20 international has clearly been following the Government’s lockdown rules closely, as fans noticed he hadn’t had a haircut.
A couple of supporters pointed out that the January 2020 arrival may be going for a Diego Maradona look with his long, curly locks.
Another posted an older photo of the forward to compare it, and said that they’re ‘certain’ they were looking at two different people.

Another hilariously added that Poveda is just growing his hair out so he can turn it into a top-knot, and join the likes of Jack Harrison, Kalvin Phillips and Luke Ayling in doing so.
All jokes aside, with plenty of players showing off fresh trims, it’s good to see that the youngster has clearly been following the guidelines.
Let’s see what the Leeds fans have been saying about his appearance…
