Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told The Liverpool Echo that defensive midfielder Fabinho could now get back to his best.
Klopp made the comments about Fabinho ahead of the Premier League game between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
The £39 million (BBC Sport) Brazil international defensive midfielder played well for Liverpool in their 2-0 win against Napoli at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
Liverpool boss Klopp believes that the Brazilian showed signs against Napoli that he could now explode and get back to his best.
Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool midfielder Fabinho
Klopp said about Fabinho: “The game was a clear sign of how we know Fab.
“A good game, defended all positions on a different level to week before, so it felt good for him and very important for him. A good start in the right direction.”

Encouraging
In our view, if Fabinho gets back to his best, then Liverpool will become better and will be able to be successful this season.
We know that the Brazilian is a very good defensive midfielder, but he has not been playing well this season and has not always started.
Now, of course, just one good game does not mean that Fabinho is back to his best, but if he does well before the start of the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar, then the signs will be very positive indeed for him to be on form for the second half of the season.
