Some Newcastle United and rival fans have praised Allan Saint-Maximin on Twitter for his performance against Watford this afternoon.
Saint-Maximin was in action for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road.
The 23-year-old winger played well in the match, as he went close to scoring, tried to create chances for his teammates and was a problem for the home team’s defence.
According to WhoScored, the winger took one shot which was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 71.4%, took 40 touches, attempted four dribbles, made one tackle, and put in three crosses.
So far this season, the 23-year-old Frenchman has made 19 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Magpies, scoring three goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Some Newcastle fans were impressed with the display produced by the Frenchman – who is on the radar of North London outfit Arsenal, according to The Northern Echo – and even some supporters of rival clubs enjoyed his performance.
