Leeds United central defender Liam Cooper has praised his teammate Diego Llorente on Instagram for his performance against Sheffield United.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side got the better of the Blades 2-1 at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Llorente played alongside Cooper at the heart of the Leeds defence in the Yorkshire derby, and the Spain international centre-back has revelled in the win on Instagram.
Scotland international centre-back Cooper has responded to Llorente’s post on Instagram and has praised him, as shown below.
Llorente should have done better for the goal that the Blades scored, but overall the Spain international had a very good game.
The former Real Sociedad star was strong at the back, passed the ball well, and even contributed in attack.

According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old took one shot which was not on target, had a pass accuracy of 82.9%, won two headers, attempted one dribble, and made three tackles, one interception and one clearance.
Leeds deservedly picked up all three points from the match, and they will now feel confident of finishing in the Premier League top 10.
