Alan Shearer has praised Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes on Twitter for his performance against Brentford at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Newcastle legend was impressed by Bruno, as Eddie Howe’s side hammered Brentford 5-1 at home in the league.
The 24-year-old Brazil international midfielder scored two goals for the Magpies.
Bruno scored his first goal of the match in the 21st minute and doubled his tally on 56 minutes.
Shearer has also praised the atmosphere at St. James’ Park during the match.

The Brazilian has been simply superb for the Magpies since he moved to St. James’ Park.

In our view, for Newcastle to be successful this season, Bruno has got to be on top of his game throughout.
