Brad Friedel has praised Tottenham Hotspur forward Dejan Kulusevski and stated that nobody else at Tottenham Hotspur has his ‘vision of passing’, as he told Stadium Astro.
The former Tottenham goalkeeper added that Dejan Kulusevski, who is on-loan from Italian side Juventus, provides ‘something different’ for Antonio Conte’s side.
A thigh problem has kept Kulusevski out of action since September and Spurs have missed the player quite a lot during his time on the sidelines.
Even with Son Heung-min pairing himself with Harry Kane, the north London club have looked off-colour.
But as their Sweedish star proved against Liverpool on Sunday, as soon as he came onto the pitch, he was feeding Harry Kane for his 11th goal of the season, as Friedel praised the 22-year-old.
“I think Kulusevski adds something, whether that’s from the bench or starting, that’s different from anyone else in the Tottenham squad,” said Friedel.
“His vision of pass and his quality of crossing into the box are the two things that stand out for me. He also has a very good strike on him.”
KULUSEVSKI IN 2022
If you were to name the best XI players in 2022, then someone like Kulusevski deserves his name to be in that team.
Last season, he scored five goals and assisted eight from his 18 Premier League games, and despite being on the sidelines for large parts this term, he already has four assists.
In previous years, it’s Son who has been the one to partner Kane, but it could now be argued that Kulusevski has pushed ahead of him.
