Darren Bent thinks former Tottenham Hotspur star Kyle Walker has ‘no weaknesses’ for Manchester City.
The former Premier League striker lauded the Treble-winning star and how he thinks that Kyle Walker is the best right-back of the Premier League era.
The one player who could debate and challenge Walker for that all-time right-back spot, since 1992, is Manchester United great and now-Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville.
But for Bent, he thinks that Walker, who left Tottenham for Manchester City in 2017 for a £45 million transfer fee (BBC Sport), is a ‘different animal’ in comparison to Neville, as he told talkSPORT.
Whilst the debate will rage on as to who is the best, someone like Kyle can blow that debate out of the water during these coming years.
As the 33-year-old proved last season, he is still at the peak of his powers and there are plenty more medals and trophies to come.

Kyle Walker v Gary Neville
“You can’t fault Gary Neville for what he has done in his career,” said Bent. “But Kyle Walker, he hasn’t got any weaknesses. Kyle is just a different animal.
“Gaz was quick, wasn’t he?! But he wasn’t Kyle Walker quick.”

Kyle Walker is an all-time great for England
Of course, certain parts of the media only like to measure today’s footballing stick from 1992.
But even if you went back before that, someone like Walker could stand tall amongst the greats of the English game.
If there was an all-time English XI, then Walker’s name would be up for debate, no doubt, not forgetting that he is still going.
