Former Newcastle United and Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has written on Paddypower.com that Christian Eriksen will score for Tottenham Hotspur against West Ham United this weekend.

Tottenham will take on West Ham at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Hamann has backed Denmark international attacking midfielder Eriksen to score for Spurs in the London derby.

The former Germany international has also praised the 24-year-old Spurs star, and has backed him to find his form.

“Whilst I have my doubts about Tottenham, I’m really not keen on West Ham either and think Spurs should win this one,” Eriksen wrote on Paddypower.com.

“Harry Kane scored the penalty against Arsenal in their last game, but I think Eriksen is the man to go with here. He is a brilliant player, and at some stage he is going to come good.”

Eriksen is one of the best and most creative players in the Premier League, but the Tottenham star’s form so far this season has not been great.

The 24-year-old has created 25 chances in 10 league matches for the North London outfit so far this campaign.

Playing at home against West Ham will give Tottenham an advantage, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side should be able to pick up all three points from the encounter at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening.

Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment, while West Ham are currently a point above the relegation zone.
