Queens Park Rangers parted company with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink after they drew with Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
Dietmar Hamann has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 7th November, that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink may be regretting taking the Queens Park Rangers job now.
Hasselbaink left Burton Albion to take over at QPR, but things did not go to plan at Loftus Road.
The Dutch manager was sacked by QPR after a draw with Nottingham Forest at the weekend, and Burton are now only one place behind the R’s in the Championship table.

Hamann now believes that Hasselbaink could be asking himself whether or not he should have taken the QPR job in the first place.
“It’s funny because Jimmy Floyd took Burton into the Championship, and now they are neck and neck,” the former Liverpool midfielder said. “He may wonder what would have happened if he had stayed there.
“I’m sure he will be back soon. He did a good job at Burton, but QPR need to sort themselves out. If you look at the Championship now, most the clubs in there have been in the Premier League and it’s not an easy league to get out of. At best, you’re looking at the play offs.”

Hasselbaink won just 13 of his 47 games in charge at QPR, and didn’t manage to guide them out of mid table in the Championship.
QPR are currently in 17th place in the second tier standings, and they have won just two of their last 12 matches.
At the moment Paul Clement and Tim Sherwood are the bookies’ favourites to be the next manager to take over at QPR.
Rangers are next in action after the international break, when they take on Norwich City.
