Eric Dier will face Tottenham teammate Toby Alderweireld at the 2018 World Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur ace Eric Dier has already begun the World Cup rivalry between his teammates by pranking Belgian centre-back Toby Alderweireld in a video on his Instagram story.
Dier’s England have drawn Belgium in Group G of the 2018 World Cup at Russia, along with Tunisia and Panama, as both countries compete to hold aloft the trophy next summer.

Dier, 23, is expected to be a part of the England squad under Gareth Southgate as the Three Lions boss looks to pick a 23-man squad to travel to Russia ahead of their opener against Tunisia on June 18.
Spurs teammates Dier and Alderweireld face off on June 28 in the final group game, and Dier begun the rivalry on Instagram by posting a video of him pranking his teammate with the assistance of boxing gloves.

Former Sporting Lisbon ace Dier captained England against Germany and Brazil earlier this month, as Harry Kane was ruled out from featuring in the friendles by Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Defender Alderweireld, 28, is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and is unsure on when he will return, but the former Atletico Madrid defender is expected to recover well before the World Cup commences on June 14.
Dier could feature for Spurs on Wednesday night as they face APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League group stages, after already qualifying in first place following wins against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
