Diego Poyet says that he wants to remain at West Ham United next season.

West Ham United midfielder Diego Poyet has told the club’s official website that he wants to remain at the club next season.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been on the books of West Ham since the summer of 2014 and has a contract with the London club until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The youngster has failed to play regularly for the Hammers’ first team so far.
Poyet has spent time on loan at Huddersfield Town, Milton Keynes Dons and Charlton Athletic since 2014.

The Uruguay Under-20 international midfielder has revealed that he wants to remain at West Ham next season and fight for his place in the first team.
The youngster has also suggested that if West Ham are able to qualify for the group stage of the 2016-17 Europa League, then he would have more chances of playing first-team football.
“Yeah, to be honest at the end of last season I was thinking about coming back and getting ready to be a West Ham player again,” Poyet told West Ham’s official website.
“Loans have positives and negatives as well and I would do anything to stay here, as I love it.”

“As long as we’re in the Europa League, that means there will be more chances to play matches, especially with the squad we have,” added the youngster. “I’m excited and thinking positively about it.”
Poyet is a talented young player, but his lack of experience of playing Premier League football means that he will have to work very hard in pre-season in order to convince manager Slaven Bilic to keep him in his plans for the 2016-17 campaign.
