Sheffield United lost 1-0 at home to Leeds United on Saturday.

Sheffield United supporters have taken to Twitter to comment on Mark Duffy’s performance as the attacking midfielder struggled to make an impact during his side’s 1-0 defeat to Leeds United.
The Blades were looking to move ahead of their Yorkshire rivals in the race for Championship promotion, but they were largely flat in their encounter with Leeds with the visitors nullifying the host’s creative players.
Pablo Hernandez scored the only goal of the game late on following an error from Blades shot-stopper Dean Henderson, moving Marcelo Bielsa’s side momentarily to the top of the league.
Taking to Twitter after the game, United fans felt Leeds did a job on the likes of Oliver Norwood, John Fleck and Mark Duffy, with the latter coming in for criticism after drifting out of the game.
United have arguably performed above expectations this season as they currently sit inside the top six, but their recent form is a worry with just two wins from their last seven league matches.
Chris Wilder spoke about a lack of top quality throughout his squad after the game, and it was evident from their game against Leeds that nullifying their creativity in midfield leaves the Blades out of sorts.

Signing a new attack-minded midfielder who can get on the ball should be a priority for Wilder this coming January, with Duffy now 33 years of age and unlikely to be able to feature at a top level on a weekly basis.
Prior to his withdrawal just after the hour mark, Duffy failed to register a shot on goal and was dispossessed more times than any other Sheffield United player on the day (Whoscored).
