Didier Drogba sends message to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has sent a message on social media website to Mohamed Salah, after the Liverpool man helped Egypt qualify for the World Cup.

Salah scored twice as Egypt beat Congo 2-1 to ensure that they would be going to Russia next summer.

It is the first time since 1990 that Egypt have been able to qualify for the World Cup and there were huge celebrations across the country at the result.

Drogba was clearly very impressed by the way that Liverpool’s Salah had led his nation, and sent a public message to the rapid attacker.

Salah has been in excellent form since moving to Liverpool from Roma in the previous transfer window.

The 25-year-old has netted six goals in 11 appearances for the Reds to date, and looks to be a major threat for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

After sending his country to the World Cup, Salah’s attention is likely to be back on Liverpool matters now.

Liverpool’s return to action at the weekend, when they take on Manchester United on Saturday at Anfield.
