Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be out for at least two weeks.
Hugo Lloris of Tottenham Hotspur celebrates
Tottenham Hotspur fans are still in ecstasy after Wednesday’s 3-1 Champions League victory over Real Madrid, but they have now been given some bad news.
Spurs went into a 3-0 lead against the reigning European champions thanks to two goals from Dele Alli and a smart finish from Christian Eriksen, before Cristiano Ronaldo pulled back a consolation for the visitors.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have qualified for the knockout stages of the competition with two games to spare, having claimed 10 points from four games, and Spurs fans are in dreamland right now.
However, there have been injury concerns coming out of the game; Toby Alderweireld was substituted after just 24 minutes with a hamstring injury, whilst Hugo Lloris picked up a knock and soldiered on in the second half.
Unfortunately, goalkeeper Lloris appears to be a little worse than first thought, and he has now been left out of the France squad to face Wales and Germany.

France boss Didier Deschamps has now told L’Equipe that Lloris has suffered an adductor injury, meaning he will be out for a minimum of 15 days.
A fortnight out of action would usually be a major blow for Spurs, but this means he should only miss this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace, with Michel Vorm coming into the side.
The Dutchman has been cover for Lloris ever since signing from Swansea in 2014, and whilst he has barely featured over the years, he is in line for a Premier League start this weekend in Lloris’ absence.
