Liverpool are currently joint-top of the Premier League table.
Quoted by Goal, former Liverpool midfielder has claimed he does not think that Liverpool will end up winning the title this season.
The Reds are currently joint-top of the Premier League table, sitting level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City in first.
It has been a strong start to the campaign, increasing hope among fans and pundits alike that a first Premier League title could be on its way to Anfield at the end of the campaign.

For Hamann, that is not going to happen, but he is backing them to be among the contenders nonetheless.
“They’ve got a chance but so have four or five other teams. I don’t think there is an awful lot between the teams,” Goal quotes him saying.
“You can make the case to say they have achieved the most if you look at the teams they have played so far. I don’t think they will win the league, but they’ll have a chance.”

While many would argue that maintaining a title push would be the hardest job Jurgen Klopp has on his hands this season, Hamann believes it will actually be keeping players happy.
The Reds have a very strong squad at this moment in time and that has meant the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Simon Mignolet and Emre Can have all found themselves on the bench this season.
Those players, and several others, all have first team ambitions and Hamann believes it will be a test to keep them all happy throughout.
“The task for the manager will be to keep everybody happy,” he added.
“There could be players who won’t play all season, play a few games in April and may make all the difference. You have to keep everybody onside and have the right characters who accept that.”
Hamann was speaking courtesy of the Master of Sport Directorship course at Manchester Metropolitan University, an accredited two-year, part-time course that teaches a unique curriculum tailored to meet the real demands of leading sporting organisations.
