Will Tottenham Hotspur come to rue not signing the Fulham starlet?
Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Ryan Sessegnon drew a line under speculation regarding his future by extending his contract with Fulham this week.
With that in mind, it seems like he will not be moving to the Premier League this summer, but Tottenham fans should be raging if the 17-year-old whizkid does justify the hype and become the next big thing in English football.

It was only a few weeks ago that Football London reported that the talented English left-back “had his heart set on” a move to Spurs.
If true then the North Londoners should have moved quicker to secure his signature.
There was 19 days in between that report and Sessegnon’s decision to extend his contract with the Cottagers. Could Tottenham have done a deal in that timeframe?
In May, The Independent reported that the Championship club had slapped a £15 million price-tag on the potential gem – peanuts if the teenager goes on to have the glittering future which he is tipped for.
The left-back, who scored five Championship goals in 17 starts last season, is clearly developing at a rapid rate and if his 2017-18 campaign is anywhere near as impressive as his breakthrough season then that £15 million will look modest in comparison to his value next summer.
And at that point he might be out of reach of the Lilywhites’ grasp as bigger sharks circle the youngster.
Of course, he could always endure a horrendous 2017-18 campaign, and Daniel Levy would look a genius for not making the move, but if Sessegnon goes on to be the real deal then it’s a mistake that the Tottenham chairman must live with.
