It is an interesting turn of events for the twins, who moved to Leeds from Doncaster Rovers back in January 2016, but following an influx of promising foreign talent last summer, it seems the pair were finding it harder than ever to break through at Elland Road.

With the likes of Jack Clarke, Mallik Wilks and Kun Temenuzhkov all tipped to be future striking stars for Leeds, and with Oriol Rey among the teenage defenders brought in by Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta, the prospect of two 21-year-olds winning that particular battle was growing increasingly slim.

The future looks very bright for Leeds, but it was no real surprise to see the talented twins move on.
