Son was brilliant against the Toffees, netting the opener to become the first Tottenham player since Jermain Defoe to score in five consecutive home matches and also setting up the Englishman for his first.
The goal was the 25-year-old’s 40th in 117 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s men since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 and 11th in 30 outings this season.

Since Pochettino switched from a 3-4-3 to a 4-2-3-1 Son has been ever present and was praised by Match Of The Day pundit Ian Wright for his display at the weekend.
“He gives them the thrust. He gives them the player who wants to go beyond,” Wright said.
“If you don’t get tight to him he can play great passes into people. He’s everywhere. He’s brilliant for them.”
